PROJECT

The 2011 Community Survey will monitor progress since the first one conducted in 2008.

TASKS + OBJECTIVES

  • To determine the level of resident satisfaction with and perceived importance of services provided by the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville
  • To determine the level of resident experience/satisfaction where there has been a specific interaction with Town staff within the past twelve months
  • To determine the level of resident satisfaction with Town communications and web-site and how they would like to receive information in the future, including use of Social Media
  • To determine openness to accessing further services on the Internet
  • To obtain resident input for consideration in updating the Corporate Strategic Plan
  • To obtain resident feedback for operational planning of the new Centralized Customer Service Centre
  • To identify Town service strengths and potential areas for improvement, within the context of available resources and fiscal responsibilities
  • To raise resident awareness of Town services
  • To compare results with the 2008 survey base line for continuous improvement purposes
  • To identify leading top-of-mind resident issues, attitudes and opinions toward Town quality of life

In addition, the new survey will obtain resident input for consideration in updating the Town’s Corporate Strategic Plan; operational planning of the new Centralized Customer Service Centre, and; using Social Media to complement existing Town communication vehicles.
