Ron Mucklestone

Mr. Mucklestone is a Senior Associate at DPRA, where he has been working since 1997. Ron’s work at DPRA mainly concentrates on project management, socio-economic impact analysis, Aboriginal issues, regulatory process mapping, program evaluation, research and analysis, and report and proposal writing for the firm. Much of his project work has focused on Canada’s north and the social, economic, regulatory and environmental challenges that development initiatives face in the north. Most of his work in recent years has been associated with mining, natural gas projects and the nuclear industry. Recent clients include Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, Nuclear Waste Management Organization, and Fortune Minerals Ltd. Other clients have included the Northern Gas Project Secretariat, De Beers, various departments of the Government of the Northwest Territories, Ontario Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Ontario Ministry of Environment, Ontario Power Generation, Canadian Waste Services, the City of Yellowknife, the Mushkegowuk Council, the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation.

Mr. Mucklestone has been working in project management, research and writing for a wide variety of projects and across many disciplines since 1989. He has worked for businesses, government bodies and NGOs in Canada and overseas. He has also worked as a researcher for York University. Ron has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University.
