Rachel Calvelli, a Senior Associate at DPRA Canada, holds a Masters of Public Administration from Queen’s University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies (Human Rights Law) from Ontario Tech University.
With a decade of experience in the Ontario provincial government across four ministries, Rachel has excelled in policy, program, and leadership roles. At the Ontario Ministry of Infrastructure, she led negotiations with the federal government and oversaw the design and implementation of funding programs ranging from $200 million to $1.05 billion under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
Rachel’s expertise includes providing advice to senior government officials, leading policy research and analysis, program design and evaluation, strategic communications, stakeholder and Indigenous partner engagement, and more. Her focus areas encompass post-secondary education, children and youth programming and mental health, infrastructure policy and programs and inter-governmental relations. Rachel is skilled in managing complex, time-sensitive, and politically sensitive projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve unified solutions.
