Nikita Bhat is a Research Assistant with DPRA Canada. Nikita has previously worked as a research assistant at TerraHumana Solutions where she conducted an investigation to assess the impacts of historical environmental contamination in the Indigenous community of Kanesatake. She worked on data collection, interpretation, and analysis, and wrote an investigative report based on her findings. This research has added to the archival data being established by the community of Kanesatake.

Nikita holds a master’s degree in Environmental Assessment from Concordia University and has an interest to continue working on socio-economic impact assessments and projects affecting Indigenous communities and vulnerable groups.
