Dr. Samuel Hanig is a Senior Associate at DPRA Canada in the Organizational Effectiveness practice area. Samuel has consulted extensively in the areas of organizational design and review, change management, strategic and operational planning, stakeholder engagement, and survey research, working with clients in government, healthcare, education, and Indigenous organizations. He has supported these organizations through facilitation, surveys and key informant interviews, data analysis, guidance on best practices, and the development of reports, plans, and briefing materials.


In his time working at Baycrest Health Sciences in Toronto, he participated in the development and implementation of organization-wide strategic initiatives focusing on organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management. Samuel holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Master of Arts from the same program. He completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Toronto. His academic research on leadership and employee well-being has been published in top tier peer-reviewed management journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and The Leadership Quarterly.
